The skin of the d\u00e9collet\u00e9 undergoes a different and sometimes greater aging process<\/strong> than that of other areas of the body. This is due to its frequent exposure to the open air and to the fact that it has fewer sebaceous glands, which makes it particularly vulnerable to certain environmental factors such as sunlight, wind, cold, etc…<\/p>\n

As a consequence, the skin loses hydration, sun spots, telangiectasias (red veins) and skin atrophy (thin, dry skin) appear<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the continuous weight exerted by the breasts on the lower part of the d\u00e9collet\u00e9 produces a decrease in skin elasticity with the consequent appearance of vertical or diagonal “V” wrinkles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The cosmetic care of the d\u00e9collet\u00e9 skin should be similar to that of the facial skin: daily cleansing and moisturizing as well as the use of appropriate sunscreens.<\/p>\n
